Children's Book

It was when all the worlds were one. Gods, people, nature, and animals were in harmony. Among them was the great wolf Borte Shono, guardian of portals and guide between worlds.

Once Borte Shono saw a girl as beautiful as a doe and fell in love. Alan-Goa also fell in love with the wolf. They never wanted to part and together they crossed the Tengis Sea and settled in the endless Steppe.

Where the Steppe merges with the Great Blue Sky, live the descendants of Borte Shono and Alan-Goa – the Children of the Steppes.

Their hair is blacker than the night, and their eyes are narrow from sandstorms and the sun. They draw strength from magic tea.

Their path is measured by the lingering songs of old women Shamans, prayers are written in patterned writing, legends are passed down from generation to generation.
